we see that in emergency services, safety, public administration, etc. that as we try to make the number of deaths smaller it costs more and more money. for example, we know by making everyone buy a car with seatbelts that will save 85% of those involved in an accident. requiring people to buy cars that will stop themselves will save a few more of these, lets say 1% but the feature is expensive so it is not required. So i ask the question what price do you put on a life and how do define that or explain that to others? You do not have to give a number here for a price but you also can not say life is priceless, if it were you would be driving a safer car.
